DD Dorvillier / human future dance corps presents: 

Danza Permanente

September 26-30, 8pm

In Ms. Dorvillier's new work, a Beethoven score is transposed onto the bodies of four dancers (Fabian Barba, Nuno Bizarro, Walter Dundervill and Naiara Mendioroz) with the help of composer Zenna Parkins. The dancers will embody the musical structure, dynamically transforming their bodies into each single instrument of the string quartet, "behaving as sound in silence."

Ah I've been gone for such a long time, but I'm ready to get back to posting. I've been dancing up a salsa storm most recently and continuing my study of Susan Klein's, Klein Technique™ (I teach a regular KT™ class at Dance New Amsterdam in New York, NY now!).
